'We were one of the last 3½ out there and started taking quite a bit of Bucs money + 3½. Sharp money too, 'said Jeff Stoneback, Director of Trading at MGM Resorts. 'If it starts now, we need Kansas City pretty badly.'
The money versus the spread is at BetMGM at a 2: 1 ratio in favor of Tampa Bay as it has bets of $ 2.3M and $ 345,000 on the Bucs + 3½ (-115) plus several other six-figure bets the bet made were outsiders.
'We need Kansas City to cover the point that is being distributed because we have all the money from Tampa Bay,' said Stoneback.
The worst scenario for BetMGM would be if the Chiefs won by three. In this case the book would pay out all Bucs bets with + 3½ and refund all bets with 3.
The best scenario for most books, including William Hill, Station, and Westgate, would be for Kansas City to win but not cover.
'We're still seeing some Chiefs Point Spread Money and Tampa Money Line Money,' said Chuck Esposito, Sunset Station's sports betting director. 'Right now, the best case scenario would be if the Chiefs win with one or two and the game falls under.'
The grand total is 56 on each book except for South Point which was 56½ on Saturday after completing a $ 50,000 bet on under 57.

South Point had the best price for the past two weeks at Chiefs -3 (-110) and a 10 cent money line. Westgate lowered their price to Kansas City -3 (-110) and Tampa Bay +3 (Even) in a 'Reduce the Juice' promotion on Saturday, and went on a 10 cent money line with Kansas City -155 and Tampa +145 .
'We expect it to continue until (Sunday),' said Jay Kornegay, Westgate vice president. 'It attracted a couple of major stakes on both sides.'
Bogdanovich said the ticket count at William Hill on the Chiefs ATS, Bucs on the money line and above was about 70 percent.
'We're high in Kansas City, but I still don't think it's going to be a big decision,' he said. 'I think there will be a lot of Tampa money. I think we need Tampa Bay small when the game starts. '
Although Las Vegas casinos are limited to 25 percent capacity due to the coronavirus pandemic, there is definitely a buzz in the air as it's a Super Bowl weekend, according to Kornegay.
'There's still a flow on the property that you feel, just not at the level we were before,' he said. 'In the past, I always felt that there was a heavyweight fight going on over the Super Bowl weekend.
